Descrizione

The MS, organized under the auspices of GADeS, is dedicated to the theory of dynamical systems applied to solids and structures, with particular reference to modeling, study of dynamic and thermodynamic response, stability and bifurcation. Specifically, the mini-symposium focuses on the dynamic modeling of discrete and continuous structural systems, including non-standard ones, and the evaluation of dynamic response and stability properties, using analytical, asymptotic, and numerical techniques. Topics of interest also
include Hamiltonian and non-Hamiltonian systems, map theory, chaotic systems, complexity and non-smooth systems.

Aree di interesse

  • Linear and Nonlinear Dynamics
  • Thermodynamics of solids and structures
  • Stability
  • Bifurcation
  • Analytical and numerical methods
  • Asymptotic methods
  • Maps and chaos
  • Non-smooth systems
